About the Practitioner

When I was five, I was going down four flights of stairs when I realized my legs were shaking from the exertion. My mother put me in ballet, which strengthened my legs. This experience directed my attention to the ways in which movement directly affects the body. At sixteen, I was the youngest student of the Satchitananda Yoga Center in Chicago, where I practiced Hatha Yoga for eight years. After moving to San Antonio, I taught Raj Yoga for eight more years.

Through the years, my interest in movement has also included ballet and modern dance, traditional exercise, and massage therapy, eventually leading me to discover the benefits of the Feldenkrais Method.
